  • Arrive, San Jose, Costa Rica
  • Evening: Welcome, briefing at the hotel
  • Overnight at Barcel. San Jose Palacio

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Departure to La Fortuna (3 hr bus drive)
  • Lunch in La Fortuna
  • Afternoon at Tabac.n hot springs
  • Dinner at Tabac.n
  • Check in to Rancho Margot for an overnight stay.

Today is designed as a free day with numerous activities. You can do a 2 hour guided morning hike with the group, traversing from the rainforest to the cloud forest. You’ll see different kinds of forest ecosystems, tropical birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals and diverse insects and plant species. The rest of the day can be filled with activities or relaxation, you choose.

Your morning bus ride passes through some of Costa Rica’s beautiful scenery. Lunch on the waterfront and then take a scenic ferry ride to Isla Chiquita for 2 nights of “glamping”.

At Isla Chiquita, located in the middle of the Gulf of Nicoya, Puntarenas offers unbound eco-adventures on land and sea. Enjoy an engaging selection of excursions and thrills including ocean kayaking, stand-up paddle-boarding, bird watching, sport and artisan fishing, sunset cruises, and island and beach hopping tours

Travel along the beautiful Costa Rican coast and arrive at Quepos around 4 pm. Head to the beach or enjoy the nightlife. There are six blocks of restaurants, bars, hotels, art galleries, and gift shops, all resting beside the main beach and sport fishing fleet.

  • Depart to Diamante Waterfall
  • Arrival at the base in Las Tumbas Village.
  • Begin hike from base camp (3 km or 1.8 mi)
  • Arrival at the garden, tasting seasonal fruits and learning of tropical medicinal and edible plants
  • After lunch hike to lower Diamante Falls and natural pool

  • After breakfast begin the hike to upper pools
  • Arrive at upper pools, swimming, cliff-jumping
  • Hike back to Casa de Piedra and prepare to leave
  • Arrive at the base, Las Tumbas village
  • Lunch in Quepos
  • Free a]ernoon, options include Manuel Antonio Beach, exploring Manuel Antonio town or relax at the pool
  • Dinner
  • Overnight at San Bada, Quepos

  • After breakfast visit to Manuel Antonio National Park 45min. walk through the rainforest
  • Beach Ime inside of the park
  • Walk back to the hotel
  • After lunch, drive back to San Jos. (3-3.5 hr drive, depending on traffic)
  • Farewell dinner
  • Overnight at Barcel. San Jose Palacio
