This is a great opportunity to learn about the challenges Ugandan children face getting an education while learning about organic farming. Join us this summer in Uganda!

Global Village Connect – Somebody You Know

Check out our projects in Uganda

Eight acres of maize, beans, collard greens, eggplant, amaranth, tomatoes, banana trees and pineapple plants are now growing at Buyanga Primary School. Nine hundred students are now eating lunch with more signing up for school each week due to free lunches.

We now have two school farms feeding lunch to more than 1,600 kids, thanks to the many volunteers who helped make this a reality.

Started in 2012 by a teen from Minnesota for his peers in Uganda. The Give a Goat program provides a source of income for kids who have lost their parents or whose families cannot afford to feed or educate their children. It enables students in the U.S. to take a leadership role and spread awareness of the issue as well as raising money for students in need.

More than 450 goats have been delivered to kids in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. The impact has grown through the offspring and there are now 3,500 goats and 900 children who can pay their school fees.

Get your students in the business… and travel to meet your appreciative customers!
